£80 million retail-led mixed use development that obtained planning permission on 21 March 2013.
Sited next to the River Weaver and covering over eight hectares the development includes: a new 69,000 sq ft food store, new car park sited on top of the food store.

Designed by award winning architects Broadway Malyan the scheme will regenerate an area reclaimed through the Housing and Communities Agency £38 million mines stabilisation project in the centre of Northwich. Cheshire West and Chester and the Weaver Valley Partnership are leading on the project which is expected to be on site in Autumn 2014.
Northwich’s Memorial Centre
A new £13.7 million entertainment and leisure venue. As well as a theatre space for entertainment and cultural activities the scheme will create facilities for wet and dry sports including a swimming pool with flume, spa, 80 station gym, dance studio.
Witton Street public realm
A series of public realm improvements using high-quality materials will enhance the setting of the area and its attractive black and white timbered buildings. Phase 1 complete – Venables Rd to Northwich library, phase 2 Library to Iceland to commence August 2013.
An 18-month trial of a one-way system through the town centre has completed and been adopted for full integration. The aim is that the scheme will reduce existing congestion and help to prepare the town for future development.
By H2O Urban, a joint venture company formed by Canals & Rivers trust and private developer Bloc. The plans include a new marina with 40 mooring berths, 4,400 sq ft waterside leisure facilities, a 18,000 sq ft Waitrose store and a development of 58 new retirement apartments. 230 permanent jobs. Waitrose and the marina will open in Autumn 2013
